The history of the Olympic Village

The Olympic Village is a luxurious condo complex in Vancouver, Canada which was built to house the athletes and officials during the 2010 Winter Olympics. The complex consists of over 1,100 units, each with a private balcony and a fully equipped kitchen. 

The units were originally sold for C$1 million each, but have since been reduced to C$680,000. The complex was designed by Canadian architect Moshe Safdie, who also designed the Habitat 67 housing project in Montreal.
