Eating Clean Food List And What To Avoid

1. Stay away from things that were made in factories.

This includes all types of junk food and most types of processed food. Ice cream, sausages, ketchup, breakfast cereals, candy, pizza, low-fat dairy and many, many more. A decent rule of thumb is to evaluate if what you are going to eat looks similar to what it might have looked like in its natural state. If not, then you probably don't want to eat it. This rule has a few exceptions such as high-fat dairy, which is considered healthy for us because of its high vitamin K2 content. 2. Choose the less processed option.

It can be costly to always eat organic food, and I don't recommend doing that unless you have the money to afford it. There is, however, often a healthier, less processed option. For example, if grass-fed beef is too expensive for you, then buy grain-fed beef but a variety that looks natural and doesn't have a lot of additives in it.

3. Eat plants and animals.

When we were hunter-gatherers, back in the paleolithic era, we ate plants and animals. It seems logical that these foods would keep us healthy, since our bodies were genetically designed for them. Optimal foraging theory works here, if the food you are about to eat has the possibility of being harvested in nature without taking many days in order to obtain a meal's worth of nutrition, then it is probably fine to eat.

If you follow this eating clean food list, and these tips on what to avoid, then I guarantee that your health will improve dramatically. The main causes of modern health problems are an unhealthy diet and lack of exercise.
